The edition Surf & Turf, Belgian Cats on the Northern Coast of Belgium (1996–2001) was published by Edition Patrick Frey in Zurich. As it was created over a long period of time and released by a Zurich-based publisher, the edition is directly linked to Karen Kilimnik’s long-standing connection to the Zurich art scene and its gallery representation by Galerie Eva Presenhuber. This print shows four cats adorned with hand-applied glitter on Fabriano Bütten paper.
