Galerie Eva Presenhuber is pleased to announce Body Spinners, a solo exhibition by New York-based architect, fashion-designer, and artist Nina Hollein.
For the past two decades, Nina Hollein’s work explores the possibilities of clothing as architecture for the body and as a space where material, movement, and imagination meet. Her garments oscillate between fashion and sculpture. Through fabric, silhouette, and construction, they transform proportions and create an ongoing dialogue between the body and its surroundings. Each piece is conceived, constructed and made by the artist and manifests itself as a singular work.
The exhibition brings together a selection of dresses that reveal Nina Hollein's distinctive vocabulary. Activated by the body, the garments shift between strict framework and comfortable wearability —inviting us to consider how clothing can alter the way we inhabit space.
