Zur Unterstützung der beiden zentralen Bereiche Registratur und Logistik 
im Tagesgeschäft der Galerie sollten Sie ein spezifisches Interesse an 
der administrativen Verwaltung und Organisation sämtlicher werkrelevanter
Daten und der bezüglichen logistischen Angelegenheiten haben.

Sie sprechen und schreiben perfekt Deutsch sowie Englisch, haben
nebst sehr guten EDV-Kenntnissen organisatorisches und technisches 
Geschick, sind belastbar, flexibel und arbeiten gerne exakt sowie
sorgfältig im Team. Erfahrung als RegistrarIn im internationalen 
Kunsthandel oder einem ähnlichen Geschäftsumfeld ist für diese
Position unerlässlich.

Für unsere international tätige Galerie in Zürich suchen wir eine Praktikantin
oder einen Praktikanten für die Dauer von einem Jahr. 

Das Praktikum ermöglicht einen breiten Einblick in das Galeriewesen
und beinhaltet selbständiges Arbeiten insbesondere in den Bereichen der 
internen Kommunikation und Organisation. Gegebenenfalls kommt es auch 
zur Mitarbeit in den Bereichen der Archivbetreuung, sowie der Logistik 
und im Ausstellungswesen.

Sie haben gerade Ihr Studium oder Ihre Ausbildung abgeschlossen, 
sprechen perfekt Deutsch und Englisch (Französisch ist von Vorteil) und 
haben nebst guten EDV-Kenntnissen vor allem organisatorisches und 
kommunikatives Geschick. Sie sind belastbar, flexibel und arbeiten 
gerne sorgfältig im Team.

Sales Assistant, full-time

We are looking for a full-time gallery assistant to work at the New York office.
Individual would act as a Sales Assistant to the Gallery Directors and as a
receptionist, greeting visitors, addressing and directing inquiries. Strong
communication skills and outgoing personality required. Bachelor’s degree in
a relevant field required.

Key areas of responsibility:
- Serve as a receptionist when greeting visitors and clients at the front desk,
  recognizing artists, clients, and curators.
- Answer questions about the gallery, its artists, and exhibitions
- Act as a proxy with clients when Directors are in meetings, or traveling
- Answer and direct phone calls and take messages
- Assist directors with outgoing/incoming communications, such as email 
  blasts and publication mailings with Clients/Institutions
- Input and update contact information and address preferences in our database,
  while maintaining various client lists
- Create show pdfs using InDesign
- Assist directors with liaising with colleagues and vendors regarding post-sale
  operations including invoicing, shipping, and miscellaneous client service tasks
- Help with Art Fair preparations, including maintaining iPad content, other materials,
  and events
- Assist directors in planning travel and appointments
- Assist directors with filing, indexing, and credit statements
- Maintain gallery library and stock of publications for gifting
- Assist in the coordination of on and off-site events, including gallery openings and
  dinners. Maintain front desk during gallery openings.
- Liaise with Zurich colleagues, specifically other assistants
- Maintain checklists, press releases, show cards, and other press material
- Update artist CVs and media kits
- Process daily incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- On occasion support Gallery Manager with other miscellaneous administrative tasks
- Perform diverse administrative and clerical functions
- All other duties as assigned

Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to represent an organization,
  both internally and externally, with the highest level of integrity, professionalism,
  confidentiality and diplomacy is also required.
- Skilled multi-tasker with a record of completing projects in a timely manner with
  judgment and discretion
- Strong problem solving, time management and writing skills, including accurate
  proofreading
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively and build strong relationships
  with all staff
- High degree of computer proficiency, a tech-savvy individual. Particularly, Excel,
  Adobe Acrobat, and InDesign experience preferred.
- Familiarity with art history and standard gallery procedures, policies and practices
  is desired.

Qualifications:
- BA (preferably in Art History or related field) is required
- Internships or other work experience within the arts preferred
- Language skills a plus, particularly if familiar with Mandarin/Cantonese Chinese
  or German

Position:
- The gallery is open to the public Wednesday through Sunday. The office is closed
  to the public but also open on Tuesdays.
- Extended hours for special events.
